JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF THE PHILIPPINES RECEIVED A GOLD MEDAL OF EXCELLENCE IN THE PRESTIGIOUS INPEX INVENTION SHOW AT Pittsburgh USA 

Hoping to encourage younger people to become involved in technology-related businesses George Macasero, a Trustee with the Philippines Junior Achievement exhibited “Alkasweet” a healthier type of non-acidic sugar that was invented by 20 college-age Philippine students. “We are promoting work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy” said Macasero about Junior Achievement. He added, “40 families control 70 percent of the [Philippines] economy and we need younger people to become involved in technology.”
